The Blue Aeroplanes – Swagger (Vinyl LP, Ensign Records, 1990) – Near Mint Jazz ritualistic vocal styleSwagger is a 1990 album by The Blue Aeroplanes, combining alternative rock with spoken word delivery and tightly layered guitar textures. The record moves with rhythmic drive, balancing melodic passages against more urgent, percussive arrangements. It reflects the bands growing confidence at the turn of the decade while retaining their distinctly British independent sound. Near Mint Vinyl LP.
